Instagram introduced lower back the chronological feed last month. Now the social community is experimenting with some other asked characteristic – a few users are reporting that they have the option to pin a post to their profile.
Currently, customers can pin a story, that could function a put up, however pinning posts directly wasn’t feasible. That may trade soon as a Meta consultant wrote to TechCrunch: “We’re testing a new function that lets humans feature posts on their profile”.
Work on this has been ongoing for a while now, Alessandro Paluzzi dug into the Instagram app and found the option back in January:

Now the Pin option is actually live for some users. Not all, as the new feature is still in the testing phase. If/when this is enabled for everyone, it will allow users to promote older posts while continuing to share new content.
